Private Sector Executive Experience
Kim Daffinger spent more than fourteen years working in various capacities in the financial services industry before establishing her law practice three years ago. She was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1993. Most recently, she was a First Vice President at The Bank of New York Mellon, responsible for underwriting multi-million dollar credit facilities for corporate institutions, addressing customer issues and cross-selling bank products.
At Reed Smith LLP, she acted as Client Relationship Manager, responsible for developing business opportunities with financial institutional clients. She was previously employed at Federated Investors, Inc. as the Director of Marketing, Federated Germany.
Her knowledge of the local business community, her accomplished negotiation skills and interest in addressing client concerns offer effective representation in legal and business matters.
Education
Attorney Daffinger received her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law (Dayton, Ohio) in 1993. She studied law and economics for two years at the University of Augsburg, Germany before completing her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Rochester (Rochester, New York). She also holds a Certificate in Management Studies (Accounting/Finance) from the Simon School of Business (University of Rochester).

Attorney Daffinger is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Pennsylvania. As a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, she is involved in the Sole and Small Practitioner’s Section, the Probate and Trust Law Division, and the Women in the Law Division.
